With the rise in cyber threats over the past few years, Cyberhub CEO Karin Zalcberg saw a void and began a program to educate and protect the public. 

That was when she was at her previous job where she led an aggressive sales team in financial services and worked with a diverse clientele of companies, including online gaming, biomedical, insurance and education.

With the heat increasing on the gaping holes in cybersecurity passwords, we are all getting a little sick of hearing how easy it is to access your personal details.
Any kind of external information is very susceptible to being stolen, whether it’s your password, your kid's birthday, drivers license, social security number - damn you Equifax!

As the news of the Equifax hack exploded and Equifax attempts to clear up the spill, the experts are slowly starting to gather emerging data of the damage and real-time consequences. Unfortunately, as we begin to push aside a lot of media hype and name-calling, we aren’t that much closer in understanding the significance of what happened.

Apple surprised everyone this week by announcing the new Face ID feature of the iPhone X, and It didn’t take a cyber security expert to ask the begging question: is this even safe?

The New iPhone is being promoted loudly with biometric security measures using facial recognition ID instead of passwords which seems pretty risky as many consumers just aren’t there yet, when it comes to biometrics.

Whilst everyone has been watching Hurricane Harvey take on Texas and Irma batter Florida, in the same way one might watch a train crash, other extremely important events have been playing out.

These events have aftershocks for the financial markets and ripple effects in practically every sphere of life. In short, there could be chaos at a biblical level on the way, very shortly, and our best minds need to start working fast on maximal damage control.

The recent revelation that hackers have breached the giant credit consumer company, Equifax, and potentially compromised sensitive information for 143 million American consumers is stunning.

ICO’s (initial coin offerings) are really hot right now, practically sizzling, with people literally raising millions overnight in crypto currency. Last year ICO’s raised a total of $1.6 billion.

Yet a lot of these decentralized and disruptive fundraisers are turning out to be little more than elaborate scams. Some experts are suggesting that up to 75% of all ICO’s are a complete fraud.
