Atlanta entrepreneur and broadcasting personality


Richard Warner is a long-time Atlanta entrepreneur and broadcasting personality.

The company he founded in 2016, Aware Force, uses an innovative approach to reducing cyber risk by engaging employees in cyber security. Aware Force clients include public companies, governments and non-profits nationwide.

For 25 years, he was the founder and CEO of What’s Up Interactive, a digital marketing agency whose clients included AT&T, Georgia Aquarium, the Georgia Lottery, Trane Air Conditioning and the Mayo Clinic.

Richard is in demand as a moderator and emcee, hosting IT Cyber Security summits nationwide since 2003, moderating the state of Georgia’s Red Carpet Tour since 2006, the Governor’s Manufacturing Awards since 2007 and prestigious events including Venture Atlanta, Georgia Trend’s Most Influential Georgians Awards and political debates for the Atlanta Press Club.

He spent 30 years as host of a weekly business series on statewide public broadcasting, where he interviewed hundreds of CEOs, government and community leaders and entrepreneurs. During that period, he also served as consumer commentator and occasional host on Fox5’s “Good Day Atlanta” and on 11Alive News at 6:00. His radio series, “Richard Warner’s Moneyline” was syndicated to over 200 radio stations nationwide.

In 2007, he was voted into the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame. He is currently on the board of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and serves as a mentor in the Georgia College GEM program.
